Overkill Performance Garage

Seems like they’re more worried about dating 20 year olds and commenting sexiest paragraphs online than they are about their performance as mechanics honestly image owning a shop and having your name all over your instagram promoting your business and behaving like this online while being this grown. Can’t be good for business boys. Came across this comment and many more paragraphs from @Mr.overkill1337 online.

I ordered parts for my vehicle from this place eight months ago, and I am still waiting for the part to come in and for Service to be delivered. There is a constant runaround for who is in control and when you can expect to get what you paid for with zero accountability. A part that I ordered several months ago turned out to be faulty and I was promised on three separate occasions from three different people that the part was on the way and that they would contact me with updates and there has been zero contact. Do not bring your vehicle here and do not trust what they tell you.

ZERO Stars!!!! When we took our vehicle to Overkill Performance, we were promised that it would be properly tuned and well cared for while in their possession. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case. While our vehicle was at their facility, the shop was broken into, and our car window was shattered. The owner never notified us of this incident. As now I’m curious how many people actually have their vehicles vandalized? Makes one curious to see if this was a direct course of action towards Josh because of his lack of proper business transactions. We only learned about it because one of the mechanics was thoughtful enough to mention it after my husband began pressing for answers—since the owner, Josh, was once again no where to be found. The glass from the broken window was still left inside the trunk when we arrived. To make matters worse, the craftsmanship and workmanship were unacceptable. Our car was returned with scratches, dings, and imperfections that were not present when we dropped it off. Additionally, Josh still owes my husband $2,000 and has failed to complete the job as promised. Even worse, Josh has been avoiding communication, ghosting my husband via tex

Wanted to give my own warning here after my experience at Overkill (now called 1337), do not come here if you value your time and money. The owner, Josh, will tell you everything you want to hear at the beginning, but once he has your money he will stall as long as possible on work and avoid any contact with you. Excuses after excuses are the reasons they havent been able to work on it, after a whole year that starts to become less believable. One specific time i pulled up to the shop because i saw the owner there, got out of my car, he went into hiding and would not show himself. Numerous other times i would stop by during shop hours and everything is closed aswell, no phone answers. I provided this shop with everything needed for my engine swap but after a whole year no progress was done and on top of that they shipped my car to another city for "storage", which i later found out was just sitting to rot outside a different shop in the weather for months. Numerous calls and texts left unanswered by the owner, which is a common reoccurrence in other reviews here and from people who do work with him. Nothing but respect to the workers there who have to deal with Josh though, i know

Overkill has done awesome job on our 2019 challenger Whipple install, and airlift suspension install. All the techs are great to work with. Highly recommend this shop for modifications.
